Made a trip down to Portland Harbour last weekend to do some windsurfing and took a few shots. Unfortunately my Tamron lens is having focus issues again so this was shot with the kit lens as part of a burst.
Next time I'll get in a position so I can see the face but I liked the colours:

C&C appreciated!

It works for me as a windsurfing shot - I windsurfed for 20 years before being forced to quit, and I have fond memories of 4.0 days like this. I like the colors too, but I think they're too bright for the grey-green water and hazy green hills. Maybe tone down the sail colors a bit and drop the rest of the shot down to B/W?
Did he make the jibe? It looks like he's about to run into the back of a large chop at the wrong time.

Thanks, yeah, was a pretty awesome day to be out on the water (unfortunately I'm a bit rusty after not sailing for about 2 years!)
He did make the gybe but it was all a bit messy towards the end!
Will have a play with some selective colour when I've got a minute...
Cheers

I agree with you on the colors and I like the shot. It almost looks like he has a small out board motor on the back of that thing. Too bad about your focusing issues
