total despair - no images

I bought my ps40 just before going on holiday and am
a complete beginner. I returned today to find that my 256mb card which was full appears to be empty/formatted. Have I lost everything?

I think we need more information to help. Did you download from the camera, CF card reader etc. etc. Tell us what you did and we can possibly assist.
