Hi all,
Some photos from the A1GP at Eastern Creek. This was my second race meeting with a digital SLR. I am learning heaps each time I go but would like some comment from others.

Full gallery can be found here- http://flickr.com/photos/8050015@N04/sets/72157603854306791/detail/

Enjoy.

Some really neat shots in the other gallery (I'd suggest posting a few of the other shots here so that others don't have to leave the forum to see your work).

Curious as to why you chose to post the two above here. They both seem slightly out of focus. I think there's some way better ones in the Flickr gallery....

So it was only your second time with an SLR? Well done. Keep up the good work.

I must add that I really like that Cong Fu Cheng shot (The sharply angled one in your Flickr gallery), very nice indeed.

That's not bad work there but I'd like to see you post some of your flickr shots ... they seem to be a bit better. Well done.

Cheers.

Thanks for the advice. I picked the wet weather pic because I liked the effect of the water. I guess I over looked the fact that its a bit blured. Next time i'll be more careful with my selections and add a few more.

I have had a film SLR for a few years but I didn't really try to many different settings. It was also normally at the F1 GP with all the fences getting in the way so I didn't try to hard. I took around 850 photos over the two days at the A1GP event which gave me a lot of practice:).

Have added two photos which I feel are better (well klippe likes one of them).

Thanks,
Ben.
