Hi
Normally prefer my modes of transport to be able to achieve at least mach 2 but here goes.
The Duke of Gloucester visited Cumbria today. It's the first time I've made the effort to take a picture of a train but I've been waiting nearly a year to try out a certain location-just had to wait for the right train.

Nice shots of a lovely loco and they've managed to find some decent coaches at last.

I went down to Barrow station to get some photos when the loco stopped to take on water. It's a long time since I was that close to a working engine. An awesome experience. I wonder when they added that Cumbrian Coast Express logo. It wasn't there when it arrived in Barrow.
I hope I'm not doing anything wrong by adding one of my photos to this post.
This is the train arriving in Barrow. For those who don't know; Barrow is down the coast from where Gary took his pictures.

Thanks for all the comments.
Dave-feel free to add what you want.It would be nice to see a few close ups.I was on my way down to Workington after taking the above pictures when my 2 year old decided to fall a sleep in the car.Needless to say, never got there.
Swiss Toni-the carriages near the front didn't look too good. That's why virtually all my pics stop at the first carriage.

I wasn't the only one who obviously likes the location.

THIS ONE (http://www.uksteam.info/tours/t08/t0223a.htm) should be good if you can get to it.
