Hi Daniel:
Theree are quite a few people from Montreal but it's difficult getting something organized.
I'm kind of busy right now but would love to get together.
Any idea's of where to shoot?

Always ready, all we need is a time and place.
Most Saturday mornings are good for me (except this one) and any evening after 7 P.M.
Griffintown has good shooting possibilities with not too much of a crowd.
Old Montreal is always good.
Botanical Gardens
Depends on what you guys like to shoot.

I'm a West Islander so I avoid downtown as much as possible - therefore I don't know the area that much... but if you make a suggestion I will find my way there... I am out of town on vacation (to Campobello Island, NB) July 19-27 - so anytime before or after that... Saturday mornings are good for me also....

I am on the South Shore but know the West Island fairly well, so any suggestions on that end of the Island
The Lighthouse in Lachine comes to mind. might make for some nice sunset shots.

Hi Wayne, yes the lighthouse front of the Dairy Queen in Lachine is a nice place. I go there everynight and always so different.

Yea it's always great discovering new areas.
Hopefully the next time we arrange something I will be able to get there.
Spent most of Saturday and Sunday sitting in traffic, but managed to get some shots that I hope to post a little later.
Looking forward to seeing your ducks.
Been looking at the 40D but haven't made the decision between that and the 70-200 or both. Hope to win the Lotto then I won't have to decide.
Canon rebates have been extended till the end of July so I have a little while to decide.

Yesterday I went to a park that I hadn't been to before... Bois de l’Île Bizard... it was a beautiful day there... took over 70 photos in the 2 hours that I was there.... There were quite a few other people with cameras (mostly Nikons) and I found them not overly friendly (which was a disappointment), except for one person that was there with his young son....
