they are a reputable company. you got to remember that filters are a huge mark up item for camera stores and these guys sell in volume.

the filter you show isn't the best tho......here's what i use:

Yep, totally legit. I and many others here have bought many filters from them.

And surprisingly quick shipping for a company being in Hong Kong.

I got the Hoya Digital Pro1 for my Sigma 18-200mm OS lens, then saw the Multicoated filter for my Canon 50mm MkII lens for only $1.95 (not including shipping) and bought it as well.

Hmm how long does the shipping take typically?

Well recommended. I have had several deliveries over the last few years and on problem at all. I only use UV filters in harsh conditions and then I have used the Hoya Pro1 with zero issues at all. In harsh conditions such as a dusty African safari then pack a lens pen/brush and some wipes and take care of them each day. They will get grubby easily and then could potentially impact on IQ and AF performance.

I typically receive my items within 10 days of ordering them. Great prices and service. I have no problems recommending them.

Same here. I've had shippers in the states take longer than this one in HK.

I ordered my CPL on Febuary 13th and it was shipped on Febuary 16th. Although the turn around time was great, I have no clue where the package is now...

After the package is shipped from HK and reaches the US, does it ever show up on the USPS tracking website???

If you have a tracking number, plug it in the USPS track and confirm window. I've found that more often than not, the package is in my hands before it is updated on the USPS website. I'll bet it will be in your hands on Monday or Tuesday.

Yes, I have a number - still not showing up. I'm just hoping it will show up before I leave for NY in Friday

unfortunately USPS is very slow in updating their website, only when it's delivered!

Got my CPL today. Took 13 days total from when I placed the order to when I picked it up at the post office. I left the house for 10 minutes and the mail man shows up, had to pick it up at the post office since it was insured/needed signature....
