My firefox updated to 2.0.0.12 version. And since then I have not been able to click on the edit, add picture, in fact any of the options available. Even smiley faces. I cannot click on them. I put the cursor over them and i cannot seem to get a response or use the option when I click on it! Anyone else with this problem?

I updated as well but haven't any issues - using XP here, if that makes a difference.

no issues!... oh no. I have XP. :( awww... I wonder if a mod disabled my ability to do the options.

hrm, that worked for me, maybe something else blocking java? I see another thread talking about this...

That was a little paranoid no?
Your user account here has not changed recently FYI. I think your theory re: the FF update was more sound :)

I'd go with the clear your cache and restart option before anything else.

Turned the shout to a loud whisper. . . ;)
Glad to have helped. Seems to be a pretty universal first step for troubleshooting unusual Firefox behavior.

I don't buy it. I'd go with the Mod conspiracy theory if I were you. ;)

IE also. Not just Firefox. Any time a browser starts acting weird, the first thing to try is clearing the cache.
