Not all of us, me personally I am a curmudgeon.

I don't think this is a college girl from Wisconson. I think it is Belmondo trolling trying to get Timmy all excited about a new girl on the block, and it's working!

No---not me. Timmy has his hands full already, and I really don't think he can handle a cheesehead. Go Packers.

BTW bel, i dunno if your watching the game but it looks like the packers cant handle much cheese up in green bay either.

No, I'm not watching. My wife has command of the remote control, so we're getting our daily update on the Scott Peterson trial. Besides, I really lost interest in the Packers after Mike Holmgren moved to Seattle. He's an acquaintance of mine from back in my San Jose days, and his agent is a close personal friend.

On the other hand, I'm not a Seahawks fan either, so I guess friendship doesn't buy you much with me. I'm just getting over the fact that the 49ers won yesterday. How on earth did that happen?

Southeast Michigan. Go Lions! (Yeah, you know ... the team that has exactly one playoff victory in my 39 years of life. Those Lions.)

You can edit your profile (see the top left of the screen, the "Profile" link) and add your location there, so that it will show up under your avator icon at the left of your posts.

As you can see, I'm from the Netherlands. There are a lot of people from different parts of the world here. The forums are hosted by Pekka Saarinen, from Finland.

Sounds like the DC government is taking cues from the Montreal/Quebec government.

It's just standard sports practice. The "owners" soak the community for a stadium, then start looking around for someone else to buy them a new one which they can soak the fans more for. Witness the Deadskins. and FedEx Field (which you can't even walk to - gotta park in the paid lot and take the shuttle - no other way to get there).

Kerry,
I had always wanted to teach overseas , so in 1999 I decided to act on that desire. My son(10 at the time) and I came over in Nov. of that year.
The photo opportunities here are tremendous! Okinawa is known as the "Hawaii of
Japan" ,and is very beautiful. Not only do we have the outstanding views ,but the Okinawans are the most wonderful people you'd ever want to meet. Living here is like being on vacation all the time.:-)

Born and raised a Londoner. Now I'm part of the British Govt plan to fix that whole 1776 debacle by slowly taking control from within. Currently stationed in Sacramento, CA. We figured the state capitol of one of the larger states was a good place to start. :) We've already got a European as govenor, they didn't even see that coming.
