Thanks for sharing Andrew. I was thinking the exact opposite of drisley. Hopefully the Zamboni claimed the Moose for roadkill ! :)

Andrew, shots look great! The wide angle shots are excellent, Ive never thought to try that (plus my shortest lens is 28mm), what kind of focal lengths were you using on those? Judging by the shots, I assume you sat in 208? (or one of the 'pair seats' in 207). One last question, did you use the 30D or 400D? Ive though about using my 400D for the extra reach (as to a 1D), but am wary of the AF compared to the 1D... just curious.

Gotta admit though, Im a little disappointed by the lack of photos of Philstrom (#40) on the Ads, he's usually good for some action. Gotta love the #s on the Moose sweaters though!

Thanks for the kind words , I used both my 30D and my 400D. I was able to roam where I pleased ( had a photo pass) but stayed at the end where they had a stage set up for a concert and was able to use the cut out in the glass for some shots and others were through the glass.
30D, 70-200MM 2.8, ISO 1250, AV Mode,AI Servo
400D-16-35MM 2.8,ISO 1600,AV Mode,AI Servo

Great pictures. Why do the Admirals have the Milwaukee Brewers logo on their jerseys?

YAY!!! :D

These last pictures are great. I might have to get some tix behind the net at a Moose game. The lighting at the new rink is superb, often offering 1/800s at ISO800.

B/c AHL allows teams to have corporate sponsors on the jerseys, and the Brewers sponsor them.
