Found one of these "spotty flies" - this one had a problem , was stuck clinging to some leves.

I've been watching these for a while , yet to see them eat. Now I know , they eat fast ion short bursts.

Excellent series - lovely detail and colours :)
#1 looks to be a plant hopper - they always have those "bolt like" antennae
esp like the last hopper with all those browns :)
