Problem with G3 display

Hi

We have G3. We think that it is good camera. Lately our camera have problem: Some time when we change zoom, focus ... then dislay not show ( it is black and not see any things and not take photo ). When we turn off and switch to mode view pictures then turn on or turn back then it is normal. Please, who saw that problem ? Method of repair ?

If it is still under warranty I'd take it back to the shop and ask them to have a look at it.

I know I am stating the obvious here, but are you pressing the 'display' button by accident, to turn the display off? It is the button at the back next to the screen.

I quite often turn the display off to save battery power.
