No RAW

I have just been mucking around with my new camera and found that I don't have any RAW on the image quality screen ? Am I doing something wrong I have looked at the book and thats no help. I have a 4 gig card in it. Ahhhhh :evil:

By default, Canon camera's don't have "RAW" on... You can turn it on where you select image size/quality (and you have to be in one of the creative program modes (P, Av, Tv, M, etc.)

As djeuch says, you need to be in P, M, Av, Tv or A-DEP modes to get the raw option - I won't be available in the 'Mickey Mouse' modes.

I have a 1D MkII n and a 5D where do I find the "Mickey Mouse" settings, I love the idea of everyone I photograph having four fingers and big round ears.

You will actually need to go to Disneyland or Disneyworld etc. to get this 'effect' with a 5D or 1D series - Thats what comes of buying such an expensive camera :-)
