I'm going to be setting up my new shopping cart this week and I'd like to start accepting different kinds of payments.
I'm having trouble finding a whole lot of information on going about setting up credit card acceptance here in Australia so would appreciate some pointers to links for help or some advice/direction on how you did it.
I've also considered Paypal and just wondering what route you've gone with them.

Hmm, maybe. Looks kinda pricey for both client and me?

The version I use has no monthly fee and takes about 3.5% of the transaction, there's no cost to the customer just you. 3.5% is cheap for low volume credit card processing.

OK, I'm clearly not reading the site right. I see 2.4% for the seller on the standard account plus GST, max $5000 AUD month and 50 cents +3% to the seller.
What am I missing?

Sorry, they have different fees for the Australian and the Kiwi versions of their website. That is a pain the way they do it for you guys, for us it's a flat 2.4% from the seller. Maybe you should look elsewhere.

I'm trying to check out as many options as possible - would appreciate any input from some Aussies on this.
