All of the sudden my s9000 started to print black and white photos with kind of a blue tint to them. I called canon and did everything that they told me to but it did not change. I've done numerous cleanings and nothing helps. please help this is really annoying me. :(

Are you using Canon ink? What program are you printing with? Are you using custom profiles? Have you recently changed your color management settings? Have you changed paper brands recently? Maybe a bad batch of paper, have you tried another lot?

Need some more details.

You could try un-installing and re-installing the printer driver.

What operating system are you using? Windows XP? Mac OS?

You PM'd me that you have XP...

One thing to check for, and you may think this is really basic, but make sure all the ink carts are in the the correct locations...

Open your printer settings and click on the default button to reset them. Then select Photo Paper Pro, then in the print quality select custom, then click set. Select #1 for quality (fine) and diffustion for halftone. Leave the color on Auto and don't preview before printing.

These are the basic settings for using Canon ink with Canon paper.

How are you making your B&W photos and printing with Easy Photo Print? Are you using the B&W mode of you camera? I don't think Easy Photo Print has a B&W mode. What camera are you using?

The S9000 isn't known for great B&W output. HP and Epson make better B&W printer with their light grey inks.
