Let me introduce my new website design. Unlike the previous which I coded myself for countless hours, this one is based on a template. I lost at flexibility a little but gained a lot at effectiveness and probably, loading speed compared to the original.

I think I have some practical ideas for the others there, such as glossary and in-text reference to it (feel free to use and modify it). Even more tools and resources are planned to be added, both for brides and for fellow photographers, such as integrated proofing/ordering system, package comparison charts, and tips.

On a technical note, I am yet to come up with a proper logo. I agree that as much as I like what I did, it has to be more practical. It will still be based on the photo but perhaps a modification of it. As for the SEO, I will have a text-only mirror HTML site pointing to this Flash version.

Thank you for your time, c&c are welcome. Site contains music. Apologies to those who find it annoying.

I like the overall design. Why did you decide to make the wedding and fine art two distinct sections? Why not have your portfolio then have wedding and fine art? IMO there should be a way to go back to the main page after you enter the wedding section. It does open another window (firefox) but IMO there should be a link to bring the customer back to the main page so they can look at all your other work. These are just minor things I noticed, it's a great site overall IMO.

I target two distinct groups hence different sections. Not sure what you mean... not splitting them in sections?

This is a template so I was limited in design to some extent. There was no way to link "Home" button to the main splash screen as I planned; instead, it leads to each of the two section's start page (the one that has slideshow).

Thank you for the comment. I wonder what caused the others to remain silent... Maybe, not the best forum? Would Critique or Galleries be better?

Hi friends, I am 16 years old a school student. I want to learn how to turn digital pictures into art that looks like a portrait or a painting. Where do I start? Is there specific software for this? Which software is the best? What is this process called? Do you know of any good websites that I could check out to learn more? Thanks a lot.

Welcome to forum. While I was glad to finally see somebody reply to my invitation to check out my new website and share thoughts (such a shame, so many people went there, just one did a favor...), I see you posted in the wrong place. I'd suggest RAW, Post Processing and Printing (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=18). I personally tried Corel's Painter X for what you are asking.
