Looks like you have a dusty sensor. Better get that cleaned.

Nice shot...agree about the sensor crud up on the top left. ;)
Post some more shots if you have them. :) Why did they use columns?

each column represents a Sailor or Marine killed on board the ship, and yes I know my sensor was filthy.

What I mean is....what is the significance of the columns? Like the chairs at the Oklahoma City bombing...this is unique and I thought it was done for a purpose. These follow on shots are great.
*gasp* They are using the enemies camera

I noticed that every Air Force base i've been stationed at uses the enemies camera, maybe thats why no one gets the base paper...

well the columns and their orientation and the whole design of the memorial are supposed to look something like sailors in their white uniforms manning the rails of the ship

Oh, that would be fitting for this memorial; the sailors lined up at the rails of the ship like they were coming into port. Did you happen to get a wide shot of the whole thing?

Nah, don't listen to them...that's what CS3 is for!! ;)
If you do decide to remove the gunk, do it yourself or take it to a Canon Authorized Service Center...don't let some nimrod at the local camera store jab at the most expensive component in your camera.
