The ones I called "Skipper & Gilligan" because the hung around each other for an hour. When one flew, the other followed. When one ate, so did the other.

They were quite the pair.

Nice shots there Scott.

Lack of noticeable shadows means it must have been overcast. What ISO were you shooting at. Can't see any noise.

Yes, this was the 400mm + 1.4 TC on a monopod (so I wasn't that close), and I believe that I was doing ISO 400. I think the lack of noise is just due to the web-sized image - noise was visible, but not intrusive, on the full-size image.

I really did get a kick out of these two. All I could think about was Gilligan being the "little buddy" to the Skipper. These too were inseperable.
