Help: Date on pictures

Anyone know how to put the date and time on pictures with the Canon S30? Been looking through the book and can't find anything that says how to do it.

Let me explain a little more since a lot of yall are going to say "Dates are ugly."

I usually dont like the date and time on my pictures at all, it ruins them. But in this one case i need to take a series of pictures that needs the date and time on them, basically so i can prove something.

There's no way to make the camera record the date on the picture. There's no point, since you can do that on the computer if you desire (ZoomBrowser will do it).

The camera will record the date in the picture's exif information, but it won't prove anything since you can set the date to whenever you want.
