I liked the steeple on this one. I meant to come back to it when there were more clouds, or a bigger bird, but it got too busy. Sunrises happen quickly.

High in the sky the light was bright well before the sun came up. The clouds looked cool, and the gulls were flying.

A dredge was "patrolling" the bay the whole weekend. I like the way the smokestack trailed the sun out. I kinda wish the funny framework thingee wasn't in the way, though.

A little bit of everything in this shot - little boat, big ship, some cloudsm birds on the shoreline, posts, and the funny framework thingee again.

A little while after sunrise the skimmers took to the air.

Busy sunrise. Something like 120 shots in 20 minutes. There was a lot going on.

I like sunrises. The world wakes up and the colors are cool.

You're like a walking National Geographic special....

These images are beautiful.... so full of colour and story and it's so nice to be alive. The Skimmers, in the last one... belongs on a magazine cover.
