I've been playing around with eos capture lately and would actually like to take a picture every 15 seconds for 8 hours, which would make approx 1920 shots.
Since i don't want to use the mirror-mechanism prematurely, i wanted to focus manually, lock the mirror and just have the 20d capture the pics with the mirror up. that doesn't seem to work though.
another question: if i take lots of those sequences (8 hours/1 shot every 15 secs), the shutter will be used pretty soon, won't it? do u think that the shutter will be covered by the warranty, considering that the 20d is still under warranty?
