Extra battery Pack for EOS 400D

Hello All,

I am planning to get a Battery Pack for the EOS 400D as a back up in the first one goes dead. Do you suugest buying a Canon Battery or any other 3rd Party Battery ?

I do see a lot of 3rd Party Battery Sold. The Store keeper says they work fine but I don't want to risk.

Lots a folks on here have had good luck with Sterling Tek batteries...fraction of the cost of the Canon battery. I got two for my XTi for about half the price of the Canon Battery including shipping.

I got 4 of them and love 'em! I only use two really but when I get another 20D, or a new 30D or 40D I have two extras ready.
