Stroboframe 310-900

I bought this model used last year. Did not need it till now. Found that I have a quick release hot shoe #300-QRC. I need the standard one #300-SHO. Also when I tried to flip my camera, I almost broke my hand. The bolts seemed to have froze. What do I need to loosen them up with?
