Haha! I was thinking along similar lines. I was thinking that you could stand there eating your fish and chips, licking the side of the church every couple of minutes!

Is there some significance to a church made from salt blocks?

I think Bolivia has the world's largest salt desert, so that might have something to do with it. :-)

A desert is a good place to have a building made of salt blocks. There is a salt block building in Grand Saline, Texas, and the last time I saw it there was visible deterioration due to rain.

I was going to say, it must not rain there that much. Excellent capture.

Yes, it is next to the salt flats where they make salt blocks, salt sculpture, salt tables, salt souvenirs, ... The blocks weather well in this dry climate. They eventually turn the color of the blowing dirt.

I'd love to see what my cholesterol level would be after one night in that church. They must try to keep any and all horses away!

Boy, that must be a GREAT place for deer hunting.
Ah, on second thought... maybe I wouldn't want to see what showed up.
