Hello folks, I have a unique and exciting opportunity. As a storm chaser I travel tens of thousands of miles every spring/summer witnessing some of mother natures most breath taking scenery. Some of the skies we as storm chasers witness are dream shots to many photographers. I personally focus on Video of these events, though sometimes, I try to grab a couple stills with my XTi when I find the time. With increasing gas prices this hobby is becoming tougher and tougher to fund, thus I am looking for folks interested in tagging along on chases this year.

This is quite an opportunity for those with any interest in storm chasing, there are numerous Chase Tour Groups out there charging $2000+ for 5 days of scheduled chasing, meaning you pay $2000 and if mother nature doesn’t cooperate during those 5 days your out your $2000. What makes my offer an excellent deal is, I will only chase during periods that promise to be active (active periods until May and then most likely all of May and June), and instead of chasing in a large passenger van with a large group of people you will be chasing on your own, or possibly in pairs if you wish. This small group setting will allow for unique opportunities, such as if you express interest, I will be able to provide one on one severe weather “coaching,” if your not interested in learning, that’s fine as well, just come along for the ride, and enjoy witnessing and photographing some of the most breathtaking scenes on earth. I will not charge outrageous prices, all I ask is that you help with the travel expenses.

If interest in this opportunity is great, as I suspect it will be, some of you may be interested in pairing up, maybe a couple of buddies who are both interested in this, or a married couple ext… ext... Pairing up like this would only cut the cost down further. I have all the equipment that will be required to make our chases successful, you’ll be chasing equipped with a laptop with GPS software, GRLevel3 Radar Data, nationwide wireless Internet, Ham Radio and numerous other pieces of equipment. I am an experienced chaser and can provide references from some of the nations most recognized chasers. My site features just a small introduction of what you will see if you choose to partake in this great opportunity, visit www.severechase.com (http://www.severechase.com/). If you have any interest in this please contact me, as I understand there will be a plethora of question beyond what I was able to answer here, I figure this introduction should be enough to weed out those who have very little interest. If you have any interest in severe weather or are just a photographer looking to expand your portfolio this is a once in a life time opportunity, some of the photo ops are breathtaking, even when there are no storms traveling the high plains provides for some unique scenery. Please contact me by email: nebraskachaser@gmail.com or simply PM me through the forums message system. I look forward to entertaining all questions!!!
