Ebay non payers?

How long do you guys wait before relisting a item I sold a item monday afternoon sent emails to the buyer with the invoice. I have had no responce. and its someone new under 30 days that bid. So i am thinking SCAM. ok maybe not scam but had the winning bid and wanted to back out.

How quickly do you folks relist?
I need the monies for my 30d that i have a deposit on.

Bit of an odd scam if the guy owes you money and doesn't pay up...

What I normally do is send a reminder email and set a deadline for 7 days later. If no pay-up, relist it.

I always waited a week before sending a second invoice and then I would send them an email warning them I would start the non paying bidder process at the end of that week...

Back in the good old days, you could threaten them with bad feedback...

I've had genuine buyers who leave it about 5-6 days before paying ???

I only ever had one person not payup, I relisted after about 14 days. The original 'buyer' later contacted me apologising and explained he forget he'd even bid !! - That didn't explain how he ignored all the emails and ebay messages though...

If I buy something, I want is asap so pay straight away, but some people obviously don't seem to care.

You must follow the unpaid item process in order to get a refund on your listing and final value fees, otherwise you'll pay twice.

And don't forget to neg his ass. the buyer won't be able to neg you if they haven't paid.

Give them a week and then resend another email giving them a deadline. Thing that annoys me more is people who don't leave feedback grrrrr.
