I am thinking of picking up a Novoflex focusing rack like this (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/163878-REG/Novoflex_CASTEL_MINI_Focusing_Rack_Small_Mini_.htm l) for macro work.
My question, dumb as it may sound, is this. Does the focusing rack basically replace the ball head or does it somehow get mounted on to the ball head?
