I think these are fantastic.Really makes me want to buy a macro lens and have some fun.

Are any of these shots stacked? I have the MPE-65, 400d and twin macro flash and have not been able to produce shots like this (yet).

Thanks very much DarrinMB, all the shots are focus stacked and a magnifications above x3. I use a 430EX speedlite with a diffuser like LordV's for the lighting.
So just how close are the objects to the lens?
Hi Simoli, the subjects are within a couple of the front of the lens.

Amazing photos! i wish i had the funds to purchase a lens of such quality! how difficult is it to use and achieve shots like that? bit of a broad question really but I have no experience with macro lenses so any info would be great. thanks
