Milk Crown ?

Ok I have a question my uncle gave me an article out of a magazine years ago that gave the instruction on how to make a magic box what when a milk drop would pass through a beam of light it will make your flash go off that was hooked to the PC socket. I was wondering if anyone knew where I can find this so I can build the unit. Thanks
