Hey all,
Well I did it, I sold my G2.
Honestly it was to much for me. I really liked it but it was overwhelming at times, not a point and shoot. :(
Absolutely great features and pic's.

I have a 35mmSLR with a couple lense's, filters and such but now am looking for a good quailty point-and-shoot digital camera. One with great resolution but with ease of use, reliability and compact.

So. . .what would you all recommend?
Thanks and I appreciate your opinions.

Bob

That's too bad. I may have did a trade for my A40 and cash. Oh well.
The A 40 is a good bang for the buck unless you want to spend the same amount of money as the G2 but less complicated.
Check it out.

bob, take a look at the S30/S40 duo. They share most of the features of the G2, but are essentially p&s digicams. I purchased an S30 and I find it really user friendly. The S30 has a 3.2MP resolution, and the S40 is 4.0MP like the G2. The metal and plastic casing is ultra compact (fits nicely in one hand) and feels sturdy, but rather heavy for its size.

Here's a link comparing the S40 to the G2:
