Was going through some shots from last year and here is the Sound of lights show held in Gatineau, Quebec. Shots taken from Ottawa, Ontario With my XT.

wow.. nice shots canusa...

number 1 gives a good sense of scale but i wish the fireworks filled more of the frame.. might be a tad dark too..

number 2 has nice colour.. and fills the frame more.. but is crooked... and is definately too dark.. some fill light would have been nice... maybe rent a helicopter and have him put a spotlight on the building next time.

number 3. again nice colour wish they filled the frame a bit more.. and obviously you forgot about the rule of thirds...maybe try a different crop?

anyways thats all i have to say about those. better luck next time.. :P

try not to get too paranoid. I notice there was another thread that had 30,000+ views with only 150 odd comments...so yours can't be that bad...
