I can down load the canon rebate document. It opens PSE2 and loads the document but I can't read it or get a good print. Its fuzzy and uneven. No amount of work in PS will make it better. I feel I might have a setting wrong in PSE2 but for the life of me I can't figure it out. any ideas? It just looks like a poorly scanned document.

Here is the link for Triple Rebates. I did find my problem. PSE2 was set to 72 DPI, ( Edit/ preferences/units & rulers) , I changed it to 180 and the rebate form displays and prints ok now !

Can I ask why you were opening an Adobe Acrobat PDF in PSE2 rather than Acrobat Reader? I suspect that's where your problem started.

Mmmm... if you have Acrobat Reader installed on your machine then it sounds as though your file associations for PDF files has got screwed up... if you don't have Acrobat installed then installing it would help.

No I do not have Acrobat Reader. Never used it :? PSE2 does open the PDF file and now that I increased the DPIit is readable and prinatable. Any reason I need Acrobat?. I may have had it in the past but did not reload it the last time the system crashed.

No, if you're happy with what you've got then stick with it. I suspect Acrobat Reader makes a better job of handling PDF files than PSE2 does though, so it's worth bearing in mind if you have problems with a PDF file again in the future.

Yes, especially with printing, multi-page docs and if you're interested in searching the doc for particular words.
