I've got the remote, but have lost my instruction sheet. I've checked canon's website and can't find it. Anyone have any instructions for this? Thanks.

I am pretty sure that the following tidbits are correct for that remote shutter:
1) Half-press to focus/meter, press fully to shoot for all modes except bulb
2) Press and push forward to lock into position to open shutter for bulb exposures, then pull back to release shutter
3) Hole on bottom is for wrapping the cord around the remote and then stick the headphone plug into the hole for storage

Don't there there is much more happening with that remote. If I am wrong, I will soon be corrected here on POTN!

Its basically just like the shutter release on the body except for the addition of the lock. (I wish bodies had this too.)

eosdocs.com has homemade manuals if you lose yours.
