View Full Version : Any more info on Tamron's 11-18mm APS-C lens?

Does anyone know anything about pricing and availability on Tamron's recently announced 11-18mm lens for APS-C sensor cameras, that will be competing directly with Canon's 10-22mm EF-S?

it has not been announced yet. hopefully, it will be around $300.
actually, I'm not sure if investing in smaller frame lenses is good idea.

I've been wondering if investing in any APS-C specific lenses would be a good idea as well, but if this Tamron does come out at around $300 and is close in quality to Canon's 10-22mm, I think I could live with having that lens married to my 20D.
