I am revamping my website for a broader appeal. I mostly do tejano music, but have done CD covers for blues, gospel, latin, and country music artists. Take a sneak peak. Not all of the links are live as yet, but it is coming along.

Arghhh avoid animation. Sorry not to my taste :)
The overall design is really nice though. Perhaps the wrong forum?

I don't really equate rotating text w/ animation. I think it is fine. The site is simple and it is easy to get to the content w/ good samples of your work. The only thing I would suggest is that you include some sort of nav menu (perhaps on the top of each page) or (at the least) a graphical back or home button on each page.

I would at least slow down the blinking text, hard to read it all before it flashes. I do find it distracting though, I kept looking back down at it to see if it changed. Like the look of it otherwise.

Hi Lefty,
Site looks good to me! And reading about your daughter was very inspiring. She could teach us all a valuable lesson, thanks for sharing her story!

If there is a way to make the accordion stand out better as it looks like he is carrying a milk crate. I agree that blinking text isn't optimal ... if it was a sign at the tackle store to catch attention then it might be good, but once they are at your home page you already have their attention and you need to have easy to read (which blinking isn't) content.
