OMG!
Can not believe this one! Marriott Reward points (couple hundred thousand floating around) can now be used at Sky Mall for a limited selection of items.
And Sky Mall has eligible Canon stuff. The 40D for 319,000 points:eek:, a Rebel for 175K. And a 28-200 mm lens. Even a cute little Pixma printer!
Cool, cool, cool! I can't believe I could get the 40D for traveling! For the first time, I'm so glad I get to travel for work!!!

That's crazy awesome. I just picked up a Nintendo DS with my airmiles. A 40D is way cooler.

I have bought HD tv's, electronics, funded my trips, etc. etc. with my miles, I have gazillion more to go.

Interesting factoid from the Economist, airmiles are the most heavily circulated and exchanged 'currency' in the world.

Oh my goodness.
Just realized I passed up the jewelry section (girly girl alert!) and went right to the Canons.
Please don't tell my husband, he still thinks I'm cute! ;)

I got 10 free magazine subscriptions for my AA flier miles and have yet to receive the first issue. Go figure that _

Good luck with that. I signed up for popular photography in November 2007 during the PDN Photo Expo and I finally called Popular photography as to what is going on and they said that I won't get the first issue till March 2008. That's just how long it takes for things like that...which I signed up for during an Expo. (It may be different in your case but I'm sure it isn't).
Then again, I paid I think $25 bucks for 3 years.
