while ago i got softbox, stands and umbrellas just before that shop closed for good. year after that i ordered sunpaks from bh. when i inspected them carefuly i thought i'd modify speedring to use softbox with new monolight. i drilled holes in ring nuts and now it tightens well.
some may say buy dedicated stuff and you're fine. thats true.
