Been borrowing a Digital Rebel from my Father-in-Law while I wait for my 10D to get here and snapped some pictures at night.
I think they turned out pretty decent.

"Night Bridge" is killer, Toogy. The reflection of the red taillights on the water really set it off. Wouldn't mind having this one framed in my living room. I'd hafta lie and tell everyone that I took it, though.

Cool shots......!!!
One comment though...........if you have a tripod that guarantees a steady camera, why use ISO 400??

Sometimes it is so dark that 30 seconds isn't long enough to expose it correctly at ISO 100.

Very nice work mate...
It must've took a lot of bottle to leave your camera sitting there on the tracks for 20 seconds :)

True, but if you dont' have a remote, bulb mode is pretty useless.

Why?

Because you have to hold down the shutter button with your finger.
That SEEMS pretty useless to me. :?: Talk about camera shake :!:

Get a pencil and use the erasser to hold down the shutter button in bulb mode..
If you do it camly, you won't have a problem.
You can use a flash light to help the camera focus also in low light.
Great shots you have there non the less.
