I'm tired from day in and day out of shooting, but I'm loving every moment of it.
What do you guys do to prevent yourself from burning out?

Shoot something else/different type of subjects.

I just try to find a different way to look at each situation to try and get as much variety as possible.

I take breaks from time to time.

When I feel like I'm starting to "work" to hard at it, I lay off of it from time to time. I haven't picked the camera up much in a couple of months (not much to do in winter). I anticipate once weather starts warming up more I'll get back into it.

I often like to listen to music while shooting. (not when doing anything paid of course)

Slap on an extension tube and go find something tiny and interesting out of an otherwise dull location.

Like some others...just put the camera down.
I'd guess it's a little different for paid work.
Luckily(?), I don't have that problem...yet ;)
I've been taking my camera out on the ATV lately, but still feel uninspired and in a bit of a funk.....but, that shall pass....
Breaks are good....but, so is a different approach to things....
It all depends on what will ignite (or reignite)
the fire for _you_

I notice if I don't hit the gas and pop the clutch my burn out percentages plummet. You could try for a lower hp vehicle with a auto transmission. Fresh tar or gravel is also a killer if you are experiencing a lot of BO's I'd stick to concrete. JMHO
