Quick Question

I was wondering what kind of cord I need to trigger one of these flashes from my 5D.

Here is the kit I am getting:

It says it comes with a sync cable but I still wanted to make sure.

well, whatever sync cable it comes with make sure to get about 2 more. Sync cables have a funny way of not working at exactly the time you need them. They are totally controlled by voodoo...and there's nothing mere mortals can do about it. :) So it's best to have at least three...that increases your chances of fighting the forces of darkness that prevent synchronicity between camera and flash

You will need to connect to the hotshoe on the 400D, but the 5D you asked about has a camera chassis PC port.

So on the 5D you can connect directly to the camera without an adapter.

Oh ok cool! I already ordered the adapter last night but I guess I can just use that on my 400D. Thanks for the help!
