In most a shadow covers the eyes which I don't like. In all but the last one it seems that the model is desperately trying to not look into the camera. It just looks too stiff and posed.
I do like the one on the bike.

Yes, bit stiff & posed for my taste too, although I like the variation of angles. I also would like a little more light on the face, especially the eyes, but I really happen to like #4 on the bike. Nice, creative idea there.

They're all technically very good, although the model does not necessrily appear comfortable with what he's doing. I don't really know how best to describe it.
Also, forgive me for this, but I had to look at #6 a couple times to make sure those weren't his pants down around his ankles (in which case he would be doing something that probably shouldn't be photographed  ). It's just a distraction to the eye, and once I reconciled it in my brain, it was okay.

Belmondo's mind is in the gutter..... :) I didn't even consider that until you pointed it out. ;)

You're proabably right about that, and I really considered not saying anything. I'm really not trying to be funny or crude. That's just how it struck me.

Actually, I had to look twice to be sure as well.
I like the basketball picture. The contrast between boots, basketball, bicycle in the background. There's a statement in that. Not sure exactly what the statement is, but I like the composition.

These are great shots. I love the composition and the choice of high contrast colour, giving them a stark impactful quality.
I'd love to do this kind of portrait/fashion stuff, for years I was really inhibited about shooting people, possibly because almost everyone I tried to photograph during my childhood was a cameraphobe..

...a little fill flash is all it would take... not enough to Light UP the face, just enough to lighten those shadows. ...or a reflector. I actually just got 5 new reflectors that I am hoping to play with tomorrow for the first time.
