Love the contrast between the two. Not many groups are as disciplined as your second shot :-)

I love the fun shot. My daughter is a dancer and most of her group shots are much more formal. ... The fun shots always bring a smile to my face!!

I might suggest smoothing some of the wrinkles on the BG. Their feet are tugging on it a bit, which is a little distracting, but not that big of an issue. ... just a suggestion.

One more...- Lighting was two large soft boxes @ 45 degrees, camera left and right for all these shots.

Yup, so which one is yours? I shot 350 dancers doing 140 dances over four days last year ... annual major production of the dance studio where my daughter attends ... a truly amazing experience that I hope to repeat annually until she is done ... in another ten years or so! :-)
