Ok, I easily figured out how to create a brush stamp in PS to add a visable copyright to all my images I post to the net. Now I'm looking to create a nice opaque beveled version for a watermark to use on all images I post using Pekka's gallery software and I'm drawing a blank on how to do it.

My photoshop knowledge is minimal - average and I'm sure it's not that difficult of a thing to do. Anyone have any good links, or can provide me with a walkthrough?

Thanks,

You mean "transparent" watermark?

Well either way, it pretty easy.
Create text,
then click on the layer in the layer toolbar,
then change the fill to 0 (if you want transparent, 100 if you not or anything in between),
then double click the layer to change its properties,
and from there on, it's up to you. You can add a bevel&emboss, you can add a shaddow, inner/outer glow, etc.

er...

Could you maybe check the "Tutorials" sticky at the top of the page.. :?

There is a tutorial on "Adding a Translucent Copyright Watermark "

Sounds like just what your looking for.

Sorry CDS, I don't know how I missed that one. I have no defense

Feel free to lock this thread, the tutorial answered my question :D

You can take the text tool and put in your text to your desired photo.
Then you can click on the text layer and you will see blending options.
Work with the many different features, and after you get the desired look you can take the opacity of that layer down and it will blend right in with the photograph.

Here is a photograph that I put my watermark on. It works for me. Hope this helps.
