Shooting Sports with Monopod Advice Needed

My main concern as I shop online for a monopod is this:

Which type of leg release is easier to handle when wanting to go from standing to kneeling , and vice versa?

Twist lock, or flip lock?

There is more that can go wrong with the flip lock than the twist lock. It really boils down to how much you want to spend and personal preference which I assume that you don't have yet. All of my supports, tripods and monopods have twist locking devices on them
