I just purchased an sd 1000 and took about 500 pictures on a trip. When I returned home and downloaded them using a scandisk reader the first 100 or so downloaded nicely but the balance did not all I got was a thumbnail which said no preview generated. I then tried to open the image in adobe elements and could not open them as it said jpeg not recognized. I can still see the images on the camera in the preview mode. Any ideas what I can do to see the images. i have both a PC running XP and a Mac with I phtot and the whole adobe suite. I have been doing digital photos for years and have never run into this problem and this is my first cannon
