I remember someone asking if one can turn off the info on the LCD of the 10D or maybe the DRebel.

Maybe you all know this already, but I just found out how to turn it off on the 10D. It's custom function #10.

Thats why they include those books with the camera ;-)

That's the first setting I set when getting a new camera. I have LCD playback off on all our cameras.

And yeah, they cover it in the manuals.
