I have a photo contest coming up next week and I need to choose which image to submit. This contest is being run by a group of pro-photographers here in Colorado. My autumn photo collection is quite slim as I have been unable to get out much in the mornings due to the birth of our first child. Next year, I'll get out and hopefully capture a bit more.

Can you help me decide which image you think captures the essence of autumn, is esthetically pleasing and well executed technically? If none of them are, please tell me that as well. (Don't worry, I have very thick skin. :D ) The options can be found at this link: http://morninglight.us/autumntop/

Thanks for your help!

Very nice photos. My personal favorite is "Mills Creek Aspen." I don't know if it the essence of Autumn, but it is the one I like best.

Good luck in the contest.

Wow! Fantastic shots Erik.
I'm sorry, I cannot select one over the others in your collection. There are too many excellent pictures.

Especially liked "Autumn Log", "Sunset over Longs", "Three Seasons", "Longs Reflection"

rich..

Hi Malok,

You're a good photographer so you should be able to pare the choices down to fewer than 23. If you'd really like some responses in the shortest possible time, I would suggest picking the five you believe to be best suited for the contest and posting them here.

And if there is more to the theme of the contest than "Autumn Photo Contest," that would be helpful.

Cheers,

Don

Well ... apart from 'Miss Autumn' not being among the possible choices  ...

... they are all very beautiful!
