before i start i use the 40D with a 28-135/ and i have 5 cars i am trying to shoot but i cant get all of them in focus should i try manual or am i doing something wrong keep in mind i am new to this. thanks for your help:D

Try changing your aperture to f\8 or f\11

or even further (smaller aperture) if that doesn't work ... e.g., f/22 .. but you'll need more light - e.g., a slower shutter speed and/or a higher ISO.
