I purchased the 420EX and want to take the flash off the hotshoe by connecting it to Canon Off Camera Shoe Cord 2. I wanted to know if
it is possible to run the sync adapter (with JTL's at the end) with the flash?
Will this work properly? I only have 1 JTL 110 and want to use the flash
with it.

You seem to be mixing ETTL and Manual together. The purpose of the Off The Shoe Cord 2 is to do off camera ETTL. That will create a preflash form the 420EX which will set off the JTL strobes prematurely. If you set off the JTL's via the PC circuit and the 420EX via the hot shoe, the JTl's will shut down the 420EX when the JTL fires.
You need to shoot either all manual or all ETTL. The 420EX/JTL combination is incompatible with either.
You could buy a hot shoe to PC cord adapter for Canon from www.paramountcords.com for the 420EX and slave the JTL, but then the 420EX would fire at maximum each time as it has no manual controls.

Thanks for your help with this Scott. I think I will just use the cord with the flash. I just need to drop a few more bucks for a second JTL as a slave for the indoor stuff.
