Series Ideas

Hey guys,

I recently viewed a series of photographs on local "oldschool" barber shops. So it has me thinking, I'd like to start shooting some of my own series stuff, I'm just a little dumbfound on what I could in fact shoot.

Has anyone approached a series before, what was your experience like and what sort of series.
...maybe even why you chose that series.

the idea here is not copyright infringement :P its more of a reference/starting point.

The only series i've done is a B&W series. I took portraits, macros, and landscapes and used Lightroom to play with the conversions.

I'm looking for something a little more specific than a "b&w" series.

One of the best series I've seen was a series on Out Houses shot in Australia..

hmm, so I settled on a bench series.

Take that however you want. I'm starting my work tomorrow, and may try and get some images up soon.
