have I got a faulty 10D

while I was out shooting today, I had found out that my camera does not beep when I have the shooting mode in AI Servo. Is this normal?

If I have the camera set to One Shot or AI Focus the beep works fine?

Is this just something that I have missed out of the manual?

Yep

It's normal... if it beeped in AI servo it would be beeping pretty much constantly...

You also won't get AF points lighting up in Servo unless you have a manually selected one.

tahnks for that, I will ask how ever, if I was shoting motorsports etc what shooting mode is it best to be in?
